I like sketching on the endpapers of the Absolute Hush book. There's a texture created by the pencil lines of the underlying Batman art and the paper itself has a nice tooth and weight and absorbancy. I splatter some white out especially over the blacks to prevent them from becoming pure blacks and being read as holes in the paper rather than the shadows I want them to be. The danger is that Batgirl has stolen Starboy's costume...can't win em all.
Thanks to Russell for his infinite patience on this!
I've always loved the whole white-out element of your pieces! I've tried using this approach in Photoshop, but nothing beats some white-out on the fingertips! Great job, as always!
